On August 31st, the Center for Learner Equity partnered with the National Charter School Resource Center to host a webinar entitled, “Providing Students with Disabilities Equitable Access to Charter Schools.” CLE executive director Lauren Morando Rhim and senior director of policy Wendy Tucker, provided guidance on how charter schools can implement legal and effective recruitment and enrollment practices for students with disabilities. The webinar explored recent complaints regarding recruitment and enrollment from the Office of Civil Rights and the factors that influence enrollment of students with disabilities.
